Season 1

Supernatural is about two brothers named Sam and Dean Winchester that were raised as a hunter by their father. Hunters are people that travel to supernatural sites to hunt down monsters such as demons, vampires, shape shifters, etc. As a child for Dean and baby for Sam, they lost their mother in a house fire that was created by a powerful demon with yellow eyes. This takes place 22 years later after the fire, where Dean is still hunting with his father, but Sam decided to stop and go off to college. The whole purpose that their father, John Winchester, started to hunt was that he was looking for the demon that killed his wife. One day when Sam is in college Dean comes to look for him asking for his help to look for their father saying that he went hunting. Sam promises to stay and hunt with Dean only until they find their father, then Sam would go back to his normal life again. Although in the process of finding their father Sam got sucked back into the life of a hunter. Finally, they found their father, but he was in the middle of a hunt. The father was able to come across a led on the where about of the yellow eyes demon. Although before they hunt down and kill the demon, they first need to go and find a special gun called the cult. The cult is a very powerful weapon, a gun that was made in the 1800s by a hunter named Samuel Cult, this gun is able to kill the demons rather than sending him back to Hell. Once they found the gun they finally came face to face with the yellow eye demon. There they battled one another, but were at a disadvantage and decided to flee to get to better grounds, but the demon wouldn't let them go easily at least without a price.

Sam, Dean, and John were able to get into their car to try to escape from the yellow eyes demon. They were able to lose the demon, but in the process  a demon crashed a truck into their car leaving Dean seriously injured, John unconscious, and Sam with little injuries. Sam was able to them to a hospital was Dean was treated immediately for his injuries. The father was able to become conscious to see Sam ok next to him, but to hear the doctors say that Dean might not be able to make it. After hearing that the father decided to take matters in his own hand, he summoned the yellow eyes demon to make a deal with Dean. He would trade his life and the cult if yellow eyes would save Dean. Then out of not where Dean opened his eyes to see that in his father's room the doctors were trying to bring his father back to life, but failed. Dean and Sam stayed with Bobby, another hunter who lost his wife to a demon, to allow them to accept the lost of their father. As they started to hunt for the yellow eyes demon again they realized terrifying information about Sam. He had psychic abilities, but he wasn't the only one there were others like him. They all were the same age as Sam and some of them lost their parents in a house fire just like Sam. Through their hunting Sam and Dean came across a surprising relationship with humans and demons called deals. Deals are when humans make deals with demons, the demons give the humans anything they want, but in return they give their souls away. The demon allows them to live for ten years of their wish, but after that they send Hell Hounds, guard dog of Hell, to kill the person and collect their soul. One day when Sam and Dean were on the road in a diner Sam mysteriously disappeared, because of the actions of the yellow eyes. Sam woke up in a mysterious rundown town to find that he wasn't only he was with other people just like him. As they tried to work together to get out of the town, the yellow eyes appeared to Sam in a dream telling him everything. Telling him that when he was a baby the yellow eyes appear to him and made him drink his blood, making Sam have demon blood running through his veins giving him the psychic abilities. As well as telling him that he got all these people in the one town if fight to the death saying only one person came get out of the town, but why? The reason that yellow eyes did this was, because he was looking for one person to become a leader, a leader to lead Hell's army. As the people slow realized that only one person was allow to leave they started to kill each other in order to survive. Dean with the help of Bobby was able to find where Sam was sent to, but when they arrived they were only able to see Sam getting stabbed in the back falling dead into Dean's arm. With the winner the yellow eyes allowed him to leave only if he travels to a graveyard to open the doors of Hell and release the demons on to this world. As Sam dead, Dean decided to make a deal with a demon to bring Sam back to life and instead of giving Dean ten years they give him one year to live before they come, Dean agrees to the terms. With Sam back, the brother with Bobby try to stop the doors from opening, but they were to late the doors were open letting out hundreds of demons, they were able to killed the person who opened the door, as Sam and Bobby tried to close the door the yellow eyes demon were their to witness the doors being open, but to find Dean getting the cult and finally putting a bullet in his chest killing the yellow eyed demon. Finally they killed the demon that killed their parents, but now they are at war with hundreds of demons.

Season 3

Season 3

Finally they were able to avenge their mother and father's death, but at the cost of opening the doors to Hell releasing hundreds of demons. Demons search for humans to use them as a vessel, because demons can't take up a physical form in this world, for that to up take Hell on Earth. With the deal that Dean made to bring Sam back alive, he has only one year to live on this Earth. For that moment Dean decided to live each day to the fullest and take down as many demons before he has to go down. During there time hunting down all the demons they meet two people, bella a person who helps collects rare items for money and Ruby a demon that helps out the brothers and trying to get Sam's trust. As they hunt down the demons Bobby decides that they need another cult and with the help of Ruby, they were able to successfully make another one. When the doors were open hundreds of demons were able to get out including a demon named Lilith. Lilith is a demon that is on a mission to finish the yellow eyes demons work, but she is also the one that holds Deans contract in her hands. As time draws closer for Dean, he decides he should at least bring down Lilith with him. Finding that Lilith is staying in a small town; Sam, Dean, Bobby, and Ruby decide to go in and hunt her down. As Dean gets closer to death he is able to see the humans being possessed by demons, through that ability they were able to find who Lilith was possessing. as they were just about to kill Lilith she possessed Ruby's body and with that surprise move she was able to stop Sam and Dean in their tracks. There she summoned her Hell Hound to collect her debt from Dean. As the Hell Hound tearing in Dean's chest and Sam is screaming to stop it, but he couldn't do anything. Once everything was over Lilith was gone and Dean was dead.

Season 4- Season 5

Season 4

Dean is alive, but how? It wasn't a demon that saved him, but a warrior of the lord an angel named Castiel. The reason Castiel saved him was that God had work for Dean that he couldn't die just yet. Even though angels are powerful creature they need a vessel as well. When Dean was in Hell he tortured the souls of the damned, but in doing so he broke the first seal. The first seal was one of 66 seals that needed to break in order to rise Lucifer from Hell. Lilith is starting to break the seals and the angels are trying to stop her with little luck. When Dean was in Hell Sam got closer to Ruby, because of how close he got to Ruby, she started to manipulate Sam by making him drink demon's blood in order to strengthen his psychic abilities. Dean tries to convince Sam that Ruby is using him, but Sam doesn't listen and does what Ruby says. Sam is finally strong enough to kill Lilith and stop her from breaking the final seal, but killing Lilith is the final seal. When Sam killed Lilith he broke the final seal freeing Lucifer from Hell. The brothers asks the angels for help, but they told them that the angels wanted Lucifer free, because they want the Apocalypse to happen. They want Lucifer to fight with Michael in the final battle, saying that Sam is Lucifer's vessel and Dean is Michael's vessel. Realizing what Sam has done he joins Dean and to kill Lucifer. They find this demon named Crowley, because Crowley has the cult. They get the cult from Crowley and go on a mission to kill the devil. In doing so they ended up losing friends, but Dean is able get close enough to shoot Lucifer in the head only to see that it failed. With Lucifer comes the rising of the four horse man, each with them a ring. The angel Gabriel tells them that killing Lucifer is impossible, but they can trap him back into his cage. the way to do that is to collect the ring from the four horse man. In the end the brothers were able to get all four of the ring only to get told by the Angel of Death that Lucifer won't go back into the cage by himself, that Sam needs to let Lucifer take his body only for Sam to open the door and jump into the cage with Lucifer inside of him. Sam agrees to the terms and is able to prove successful, but only to say goodbye to his life and Dean.

Season 5

Season 6

Sam and Dean were able to stop the Apocalypse, but at a terrible price losing Sam. After Sam jumped into the hole, Dean went to an old friend Lisa, there he lived with Lisa and her son Ben for a long year. Until Dean was one day attacked by a monster only to be saved by his brother Sam, who he thought was long gone, but actually mysteriously woke up in a field a year ago. That moment Dean was sucked back into the life of a hunter leaving Lisa and Ben. Once again together Dean and Sam started hunting, but for about a year when Sam was hunting without Dean he was hunting with his cousins and dead grandfather that was brought back to life. As Dean and Sam start hunting they notice something very odd about the monsters. They were acting different and not only them, but Dean was worried, because Sam was acting strange as well. They pray to Castiel for help and with that they find out that not knowing how Sam got out of Lucifer's cage, he came out without his soul. Dean tries to find a way to get Sam's soul out of the cage, but in doing so they learn surprising information about their grandfather that he is working with Crowley, who is the new King of Hell. Working together with Crowley they found out that Crowley is trying to open the doors of purgatory for himself and a mysterious partner. Dean finally comes up with an idea of how to get Sam's soul back into Sam with the help from the Angel of Death. Dean is able to convince Death to get Sam's soul, but  Death warns him that it will be dangerous for Sam, because of that he puts a wall in Sam's head to keep from Hell breaking loose. From Crowley's actions on opening purgatory, the monster named Eve, the mother of all, rises to stop Crowley only to be stopped by the brothers. With this hunt they learn the Crowley's mysterious partner is Castiel. Castiel is working with Crowley, because in heaven there is a civil war going on, because of Castiel's actions to help the brothers in stopping the Apocalypse. Castiel wants to absorb the souls that are trapped in purgatory to stop the civil war. The brother believe that was a bad idea and try to convince Castiel not to go through with it, but Castiel wouldn't listen to them. Instead Castiel tries to convice the brothers by telling them everything that happened and tells Sam that he was the one who saved him from Lucifer's cage. When the brothers were still not convinced Castiel decided to take matters in his own hands and break the wall in Sam's hand allowing all Hell to break loose leaving Sam and Dean busy. Castiel decided to betray Crowley and absorb all the souls in purgatory. With that he stopped the civil war in heaven and killed Raphael the leader of the opposing army. Castiel stopped the war at heaven only to be corrupted.

Season 7

Castiel was able to open the door to purgatory in order to absorb all the souls it contains to defeat Raphael. Although Castiel defeated Raphael the souls corrupted his mind and started to claim that he was the new God, cleaning up humanity's corruption. The brothers didn't know what to do, Dean tried to come up with a way to fix everything up, while Sam was keeping quiet about the hallucinations he was having when Castiel broke the wall in Sam's head. In the end what Dean was planning to do was to summon the Angel of Death and control him to stop Castiel. Castiel was able to find out what they were up to and he freed the Angel of Death from the brothers. Death wasn't happy with what the brothers did, but he decided to help the brothers, because he didn't like the way Castiel was acting. The boys were able to open the door to purgatory and convinced Castiel to release the souls that he absorbed. He released the souls, but he wasn't able to get rid of the leviathans, beasts that God created and trapped in purgatory, because they couldn't be killed. They were able to escape from Castiel's body to seek life in the human world to take over in the future. In there adventures they were able to learn that a certain chemical burns the leviathans' skin and even though they can't be killed chopping off their heads then throw the bodies and heads away would work just fine. They faced many problems, because of the leviathans: changing their identities, laying low, and most importantly losing Bobby. On their hunt to stop the leviathans they were able to come across an important tablet, the tablet is a Word of God, called leviathan. This tablet told them how to stop the leviathans, but the catch is the boys can't read it. The only person that can read the Word of God is a prophet of the lord. the boys goes out to find the prophet finding him wasn't hard, but convincing him to help them was the problem. In the end the prophet decided to help them, the tablet told of a weapon the was able to trap the leviathans back to purgatory, but they need special items. The boys struggle to find the items, but was able to get their hands on them. They constructed the weapon and sent the leviathans back to purgatory, but at a cost it also sent Dean, who delivered the final blow, and Castiel, who was close to the blast , to purgatory as well, leaving Sam alone. After about a year or so, Dean as able to escape purgatory only to find Crowley stole the prophet and Sam stopped hunting for awhile. The prophet was able to escape from Crowley's hand only to be founded by the boys, with surprising information. The prophet tells the boys that Crowley had another tablet called Demon, this tablets gives instructions on how to close the doors of Hell. In order to close the doors of Hell a person has to complete three trials and Sam has decided to complete the trials to close the doors.
